Please note that all of our book stock is located at BookSource Book Distributors based in Glasgow, whereas our admin offices are in Sussex.
Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions.
The Shop:
Can I buy the products on this website individually?
Unfortunately not. The website has been specifically designed to sell bundles of books. Why you might ask? Well, we want to offer something different on our website to our fellow online retailers.
How do the bundles work?
On the book band pages, you can select the books by ticking the box. When you’ve ticked four then you can ‘Add to Basket’.
How much does postage cost?
With a bundle it is always free to a UK address.
Do you post outside of the UK?
Unfortunately we don’t.
How long does it take for an order to delivered?
Our books are sent from our book distributor in Glasgow. We aim to deliver within 3 – 5 working days.
The Scheme:
What book band level is my child at?
Quite often children will know which book band they are! However, if they don’t, then below is a simple guide. The scheme follows the Institute of Education book banding scheme, so our colour banding will be similar to other colour banding that you come across.
Do you have any resources to go with the Readers?
Yes we do! We have activity packs for most of our Readers. These can be downloaded from our non-retail website: https://www.maverickearlyreaders.com/classroom-support/activity-packs/
